Hobbing Machines
We operate 27 hobbing machines in total. Capable of handling modules from 1 to 6, these machines are primarily used for cutting spur gears, helical gears, and spline shafts. They support both mass production and small-lot manufacturing, with precision equivalent to JIS Class 3. Machines with autoloaders operate unmanned.
Product Lineup
Spur Gears
Spur gears are Okatsune’s area of greatest expertise. We offer additional processing such as boss splines, keyways, milling, chamfering, gear grinding, surface grinding, and heat treatment.
Helical Gears
In addition to the same processing options as spur gears, we can also provide inspection data for tooth profile and tooth trace accuracy.
Spline Shafts
We can handle modules up to 4, with maximum outer diameters of φ100 mm and lengths up to 400 mm. We also support assembly and delivery of spline shafts in combination with other gears.
